Movie 2001 - Main Awards and Geoffrey Round A-V

Best Amateur Movie of the Year:
Argentinian Association of Actors
directed by Sebastian Alfie
won The Daily Mail Challenge Trophy gold cup, £250 Jessops voucher, an IAC International Medallion, the Best Overseas Entry trophy, the Creative Use of Sound award and a selection of Trackline CDs.

Its lead actor, Jean Pierre Reguerraz won the Le Hedan Trophy for acting.

Best British Amateur Movie:
Greenhouse by Tim Jones
won an IAC International Medallion, the Best British trophy, the Mini Cinema Cup for Animation and 10 CDs from Focus.

Tim won a Silver Seal for another entry: Garden Life.

Best British Open:
Blurred Boundaries by Eileen Chan, Tamsin Davis, Stephen Grindle
They won the Alan Cartwright Cup and an International Medallion.
