An Invitation to CEMRIAC members
We are Backyard Productions, IAC members based in Lincoln. We film all over the UK. We are now in pre-production of our next movie Cinders and are looking for volunteers to join the team! Cinders will be shot at Sundown Adventureland, Lincoln, Aylesbury and Pinewood Studios.
We are a charity-based filmmaking company who film for free raising money for good causes along the way!
Our previous films have mostly been spoofs such as Star Wars and Indiana Jones. Cinders is Cinderella with a Backyard twist.
With each project we like to include as many local volunteers as possible! It is a great way to see how films are made and that anyone can do it! What is really special about this project is that the Movieum of London have come on board to help us.
We are particularly interested in recruiting local dance troupes, theatre and drama groups and CREW!.
Filming is due to begin around the end of August at Sundown Adventureland. Any dance groups, theatre clubs interested in getting involved should contact Darren Scales on 07876 021 609 or email. Go to
http://backyardproductions.co.uk to find out more about us.

Encouragement for Younger
Members
CEMRIAC is proud of its regional policy to assist and encourage younger film
makers. The main elements are:
-
Special grants available to assist productions which are too small to attract
funding under the normal Lottery/Arts Council/Government schemes.
-
For larger projects, information available on external funding schemes.
-
IAC junior, youth and school members to be referred to within the region
as Students.
-
A trophy in the CEMRIAC regional film festival for the best student entry.
-
Closer links with universities and other higher education establishments
in the Midlands.
-
An appraisal service for the work of younger members.
