1. INSTANT REPLAY
Ross Guidici and Randy Condon (USA)
Calvin (Mark Castillo) is an out-of-work designer who hopes to persuade Simon (Jack Bradt) at a New Year's Eve business party that he, Calvin, should join the firm. Calvin's friend from college, Susie (Lisa Joffroy) is unsure that this is the right time and place. Also, there is Simon's grumpy wife, Hildy (Meg Herz Harlor), to compete with, plus the antics of a boozy Art Critic, Ken (Mark D. Messersmith), who finds a good place to hide Calvin's latest creation, a rather special clock. Once you have viewed this movie, avocado dip at a party will thereafter seem like a secret weapon... Sponsored by the Film Arts Foundation and produced in 1991 through the De Anza College Film Department.
