1. LAST TRAIN TO DEMISE
Kristian Digby (Devon)
This tender and sympathetic story tells of the effect the news that Jade (Emma Ashton), a young writer, is dying from a form of leukaemia has on her boyfriend Ben (Craig Mitchell) and her circle of friends, and how they cope. One of the great things about the handling of this story is that it is never mawkish or sentimentalised.

2. THE WORLD OF P.J. CROOK
Oscar Riesel (London)
A fascinating study of the work and the world of an artist. She talks about her approach, as does her husband Richard Parker Crook, also an artist, and we see many examples of her work, including a commission and its delivery. There are also reactions from the public at a showing at the Portal Gallery, London. Research and interview by Bobbi Riesel.

3. GLAMOUR MAN
Philip Beasley (Essex)
John (Steve Kutz), recently redundant, and his wife, Maureen (Sarah lliffe), have got into a boring rut. As he says, 'There's got to be more [in life] than this'. One day, he sees a camcorder 'bargain' in a local shop and decides to go into 'private video- making' - with surprising results ... Nicely written, edited and produced by the Director.
