| 1. | THE LIGHTNING SEED Karen D. Bassett (Shropshire) A teenager - Martin (Nathan Wilson) - joins a new school when his mother is admitted to hospital in a coma. He becomes a role-model for many of the other pupils, but because of his mother's condition, he has serious personality problems, which are compounded by his older brother and an absentee father. The movie deals with her attempts to get in to the hospital to see him - and what he then asks her to do. This bare outline cannot possibly convey the depth and complexity of this movie.
