BIAFF 2011 - Hosted by the North East Region

Watch the winners of the 2011 IAC International Film & Video Competition

8th - 10th April 2011 at The Cairn Hotel, Harrogate

Welcome back to Harrogate ...

Regular BIAFF visitors know and like Harrogate as a host for the Festival because of the friendliness of its people, the beauty of the surroundings and a celebrated tea-room!  Besides the selection of movies, you can make a holiday of it and visit the attractive market town. Our venue, the Cairn Hotel, is within easy walking distance of the town centre. Harrogate rose to fame in Victorian times as Yorkshire's Spa Town with its reputation based on the health-giving waters of an Elizabethan Sulphur Well. It grew in splendour with elegant Victorian buildings and wide open spaces. Today Harrogate has quite a different role as a holiday and business centre welcoming thousands of visitors from all over the world.
