They meet in the Newport Pagnell area and their aims are:

The group at work ...

  • To promote within the group the very highest standards of cinematography.
  • To create an ambience where members share ideas and help each other.
  • To promote a film making group to encourage members to exhibit either as an entire group, or in smaller groups.
  • To have a good relationship with other artistic groups in the Herts, Beds. and Bucks area.

The pictures show John Walker (on his knee below) and the team at work shooting The Streets of London an interpretation of the Ralph McTell song.

... shooting in LondonThe club tell me they hold meetings as and when required.

"Members are encouraged to bring along work for discussion, which could also be used for competition.  We invite guest speakers to discuss their work and ours, and to take part in constructive debate.  Members are encouraged to experiment with different forms of cinematography, i.e. animation, sound reproduction etc."

Membership is by invitation and open to all age groups.  Actors, technicians, make-up artists, scriptwriters etc. from drama groups with the three counties are welcome.  The annual subscription is £5 plus £1 contribution per meeting.
