The Herald Pack is part of the IAC's major publicity drive - and it can help clubs to publicise themselves too. It includes promotional material such as Book Marks and Calling Cards. We also offer downloads of the IAC logo in basic form and a form suitable for affiliated clubs.

Using & Customising the Herald material

• Ask your library if you can slip a bookmark into every book on their film and video section. Have cards to hand out - for example on a shoot when curious bystanders ask what is going on.
• The heart of the Pack is the latest version of the leaflet which gives Ten Good Reasons for joining the IAC.
• The novel touch is that these items are available as Word files so that you can produce them yourself on your computer. This means you make as many as you need, when you want them. You can customise the back of the Cards and Bookmarks, to give details of your club, its venue and the contact info.
• The main roll-out of the Herald Pack is through IAC Regions, but you can download the files here and get started immediately. They are in Word for PC format. Most home computer printers can easily print onto card up to 160 g/m2 such as that sold by Viking Office Supplies as V160-WE or widely available in office supply shops. It helps to have access to a guillotine to cut them up four or five sheets at a time.
• More flyers and posters are being designed, but here is your chance to start promoting our hobby and helping your club.

		Note that a still image 764x576 pixels in size drops onto a video timeline at 720x576 (standard 4:3 aspect ratio) because video pixels are oblong whereas still image pixels for computers and printing are square.
